Browning was one of the first firearms makers to jump on the sporting clays bandwagon and come out with a model aimed at the game''s participants. But this Utah-based company didn''t stop with an introduction or two for our clay bird game. Most every year it comes out with yet another shotgun that''s particularly tweaked for s porting.

Browning''s Citori is one of the best-selling over-unders in history. My theory is that the Citori (and its predecessor, the Superposed) simply works. Maybe in the long run, serious shooters are more interested in the real fact that this design is super strong and does not break down than in any theoretical characteristics about so-called pointing qualities.
