I have ordered a Mossberg model 500 12 ga pump action shotgun in 3" chamber and black stock and forearm. It has a 26" barrel and I am going to use it mainly on waterfowl and upland and whitetailed deer. I will also use it on sporting clays. I have heard that Mossbergs are very good shotguns and that is why i am ordering one. I know alot of people that shoot Mossbergs for much the same things as I will. I also know that Mossberg shotguns come in 3 1/2" chambers. I am getting the 3" model because it is lighter and cheaper than the 3 1/2. Will 3" be ok for what im going to use it for? Any help would be appreciated.
