The Poly-Choke II does fit the Remington 105CTi, but you must make sure you get the Remington ProBore model. The 105CTi does not use the same RemChoke tubes as most Remington shotguns, it uses the new ProBore configuration.

The manufacturer says that it is stiff and hard to adjust when new - and your's is - and that it will loosen up as it is used. Why would assume that it it won't do exactly what the manufacturer said it would? Have they been wrong yet? It seems to me that they have been right on the money, so far.

Shoot it. See if it loosens up. If it does, everything's fine and dandy. If it doesn't, try cleaning it a little and shoot it some more.
